I was so excited and felt loved, but soon realized I don't have any tall vases. which is weird. Anywhoo.. I found this short stocky vase on top of the fridge and didn't really expect anything spectacular. But I love it! the color combo and overall style gave me the idea that this would be a great center piece for a girly event, like a birthday party, baby shower or something. I'm excited. :)

Three products ive never heard about..

I imagine this cupboard could look great in both a kitchen and bathroom. Other ideas I've seen is for dressing up large glass vases with a mod design, sealing off a bathroom window to make it more private (again with a cool design!!)
2. Chalk INK:
OH! how I NEED chalk ink. I have this really cute chalk board at home that I use to plan out dinners (its hanging in the kitchen) and I use the basic chalk sticks....which drive me nuts! they screech ...break.. drive me NUTS! so I kinda end up slacking on the dinners!

how awesome. Ive seen so many things done with this too! the paint comes in all sorts of colors. you can paint furniture for kids and right on them, on a coffee table, picture frames, SO MANY possibilities
How cool is this??

I would love to have a bunch of fun temporary tattoos for a beach party or something of the sort.
I do have a real tattoo, but I would never get any more. I like my feminine clean-slate body. The one tattoo I do have is for my husband. NO! its nowhere weird! just on my right rib cage. a feather.
Anywho! heres the link to these awesome...and affordable treats...

Rocking Chair done!

my first project is done! my husband Isaac told me I cant continue on or start any new projects until I finish this rocking chair. Thats because its been sitting there all green and ugly, he could hardly stand its appearance. And because I have a really hard time finishing what I start, so he has been motivating me. isnt it so hard to get things done when you have a million cagillion ideas? i think so.
Project List

I have so many projects to accomplish, so many that I tend to forget whats priority and whats even on my list. perhaps as I go through this process of completely re-decorating my living room, I'd love some feedback. (oh wait, I have no followers!) oh well, but if you are out there...feel free to put in some ideas/opinions on my style choices.
Project List: (in order of importance)
1. Re-upholster Rocking Chair
2. Finish Bear painting for Nursery
3. Fix Drawers to changing table so slides nicely
4. Purchase couch fabric!
5. Re-upholster Couch!
6. Arrange photos on wall
7. Paint desk (what color?)
8. find cute nobs for desk
9. Paint book shelf
10. DE-CLUTTER!
11. Find cute shelf items from Goodwill that can paint and such
12. should i paint the coffee table?
13. Color scheme for living room?
2 babyshowers for one baby
So I had two separate baby-showers. One in Washington and the other in Colorado. Excuse the pictures, I wish I captured the decorations of both a lot better. and the Camera used for the pink themed shower wasn't the latest of its kind!
The more purple shower was more store-bought items and glammed up to perfection. the pink shower had a lot of do-it-yourself items which is awesome. Just a comparison.

Pillows...I love pillows!
My wedding

I figured I should post my wedding photos, its almost our 1 year anniversary! (July 18, 2010)
Getting married is one of the biggest blessings I have ever received, Isaac and I met in Bible College in Israel.. which is quite a story. A year and a half later (all long distance) we got married.
Marriage has been quite a ride, Ive heard from so many that the first year is one of the hardest; because we are getting to know each others mannerisms, I can admit that yessss it was hard but well worth all of it! Our cultural backgrounds really shook things up ;) but in the end always brought us closer together.
Having Christ in our life and marriage has built such a strong foundation for our family-to-be. I couldnt imagine what I would do without Christ in our lives. when Isaac and I cant full-fill every need for each other (which is often because we are human), Christ has been there for the both of us.
Stumbled upon
this amazing wedding I went to....

Julie & Old Egg (Oleg) are hitched!
My good pal Julie got married a couple weekends ago, and you can really see all the effort she and her family put into this wedding. from the photo booth to the center peices and buffet table; the whimsical theme continued. Oh and thats My cousin and I being shot next to the photo booth area, props were included, but we classically declined.
Gone a while, heres what Ive been doing....
...
I stopped using my blog for so long, mostly because I really had no idea what I wanted it for. Recently Ive been discovering my strong desire to re-upholster furniture, and do little DIY projects.
I hope this blog is an inspiration to others, as I discover and do my own little projects.
